Hmm, don't think so. I'll check again with Smithys though. I have a Terri Turbo with good 2YO vapour LPG injection, and that introduces petrol at high load for sure. The Liquid LPG is system very high pressure, higher than petrol (and very cold) and so doesn't need petrol added in.

- I now have 275rwkw, and 620nm torque. Proven, on the dyno. That's power to weight of 220w/kg. Not too many cars in that group.

That power equates to roughly 390kw at the flywheel. That's roughly 525HP in the old. Its a lot. Too much for my crappy Stiletto Blue Streak tyres

so your saying you think you are making 390kw at the fly and 275rwkw. so a loss of 115kw through the drive line doesn't sound right.

the not to many cars in that group comment. love it. Because there aren't to many cars on this forum under 300rwkw so I guess not to many in that group. ;)

We have fitted several of the orbital systems to Turbo cars and were told by Orbital that petrol is used under boost after a certain rpm because the gas system does not flow enough, the last we did was only a month ago.

There is nothing the installer can do to alter this either

Ratter - you're an installer? There's an outside chance that you might know a bit more about it than me ;-)

If you have a better method for determining approx engine kw from known rwkw, please let me know.

275rwkw is more than enough for a crap driver like me.

I'm also learning all the time, but because we have done so many LPG turbo cars, I like to know the limits of the systems, I also k now that orbital do not allow any adjustment to their system or provide a means of doing it

There is no accurate way to work out 100% engine power from rwkw power, Nizpro a few years ago fund that there was something like 22%-25% difference from an engine that went on their engine dyno and then in the car, but to be honest the percentage will vary with the output being made.

Well after reading this thread and owning a 5l au2 on lpg for a few weeks im getting pretty serious about gas on the g6et.

Could anybody recommend someone in brisbane to do a dedicated liquid injection setup on an fg turbo? Is it even possible to do dedicated yet?

Ah okay makes sense. Well I know you have installed a fair few setups on these cars now Ratter, is there any particular setup you would use and recommend? Do you know of any reputable installers in brisbane? I was thinking of seeing if FPT could do it. Or do I need to drive to Frankston..my AU came from Frankston...

Also do I need to do petrol injectors as well if I want to make around the 300rwkw mark.
