It wasn't as impressive as the figures show. Maybe with the extra weight they have gained, the VE has done a BA - higher output from previous model+extra weight=less performance. .... or maybe the guy just couldn't drive ....Going by my experience I'd say a stock Typhoon would easily account for one and a stock XR6T would be line ball. Looking at their specs the maximum torque doesn't come in till well after 4000rpm whereapon I reckon the T would up & gone, even the XR8 max's at 4000rpm. I give this guy a car length start when rolling and boy was he sh*tty as I flew buy ( I could see him bangin' his hand on the steerin wheel!!) didn't us tiptronic for rolling start. Graham. He seemed as if he was in his 20's so I suggested we have a race and he said NO!! Maybe he wasnt sure his brand new SS would beat a now 4 year old T...... I dunno....
