I was beside one last weekend - only for a short time though. It wasn't as impressive as the figures show. Maybe with the extra weight they have gained, the VE has done a BA - higher output from previous model+extra weight=less performance. :spoton::smilielol:

.... or maybe the guy just couldn't drive ....

Going by my experience I'd say a stock Typhoon would easily account for one and a stock XR6T would be line ball.

The SS didn't feel that quick when I drove it, my T felt quicker when I got back in it.

The HSV's though, now that's a different story. I drove a Senator the other week and damn this thing was quick.

Was driving to a mates house and happend to pull up at a set of lights with a VE SS... He seemed as if he was in his 20's so I suggested we have a race and he said NO!! Maybe he wasnt sure his brand new SS would beat a now 4 year old T...... I dunno.... (this was all on private property of course)

Funny how the BA is a FAR SURPERIOR car than its previous model and is quicker also, just go's to show how much better engineered the BA/BF range are over the previous model just as the VE's are over VZ's

By the way did'nt the AU pick up more power and weight than the EL series :yikes::msm:

4.0l T quicker than 6.0L V8. No wonder I own the T. I think the VE would struggle off the mark but eventually catch up and go right by.

Hmm. haven't seen too many XR6T stockers do 13.4 and 5.2, or is that wheels and motor can't drive them?
