gt-p, just wondering on the progress of the underdrive pulleys. If you need a NA car to do some tests on, let me know. I'm only too happy to help out....

I've just read (on FF) that soon there will be underdrive pullys available for the BA XR6 Turbo. I know that alot of the GT blokes have them and think they are great.

Have a look at the link if you're not sure what they are, any thoughts and ideas would be appreciated.

ITs cheap reliable RWKW, I will give it a go as long as it does not make the car stall

So what about water pump, slower? alternator, slower? AC compressor, slower?

My bigest worry would be alternator slowness,Ive had bombs where the alt dont charge, raise the revs by a 100 and the alt charges,Henry didnt design the T for slower revs, when at idle and the AC klicks in is it gonna stall? :ermm:

This is my fear as well.

I would not be too worried about the alternator, its not like you will be sitting for a long time idling while draining the battery. The stop go city driving will allow the batter to charge.

I am more worried about the power steering and aircon loading up the drivebelts and cauising stalling problems.

I have not heard if the XR8's and GT's have a stalling problem, but if they do underdrive pullies will make it worse.
