Guest Guests Posted 27/01/08 06:27 AM Share Posted 27/01/08 06:27 AM (edited) Send me a PM and I'll hook you up, don't forget to PM me your email address or I can't get you all the info you'll need.As for the questions about how it works,Its a bit like getting your Air/Fuel just right, from the Factory Ford tunes your car rich, this tune is safe but lacking in performance. The stock harmonic balancer in the BA-BF is crap, its from the stone age. Replacing it gets your engine using only what it needs and no more. I tested my car and found no voltage loss with the lights, fog lights and sub pumping.Theres no loss to any ancilliares and no ones has reported to me claming there is.Ive helped heaps of people get these Balancers and everyones happy with the results, you'll see the gains on a dyno and feel them in your seat, plus 2 guys at Ford Forums fitted them went racing and cut 0.2 off their 1/4 time. These things work and are much stronger than the factory one, if you ask me anyone running the factory balancer is taking a risk with their engine.Theres heaps of XR6, N/A and Turbos that sport K&N flat filters (which give you bugger all gains maybe 4 or 5 kw at the fly) try 9 rwkw from the Under Drive at about twice the price of a K&N and that result is on a N/A. Theres a Turbo going to be tested very soon I hope to see even larger power gains. Its a massive ask but if it gets 15 rwkw then its better value than a edit with a custom tune. Right now a tuner doing you a good deal will charge $1200 for an edit and tune, and all going well you may see as much as 35 to 40 rwkw gain. The under drive fitted shouldn't cost you more than $400 for a N/A the gain is 9 rwkw. I can't wait to see the XR6T test.Drop me a PM if your up for it.Greg. Edited 27/01/08 06:32 AM by NOS XR

Cos 9 rwkw in a N/A is more like 12 kw @ the fly.I always look at Power Gain Vs Dollars.BTW 9rwkw for under $400 fitted with the under drive on a N/A Falcon "OR" 14rwkw from the Edit for $1200.I know what I'd do, (and did) both, its not a question of which mod is better, Im just trying to say the Under Drive is very good value any way your look at it and it should be looked at against the best around to see just how good it is.I don't think for a second that there'll ever be XR6T owners diving around with their only nod being a Under Drive balancer, but its like anything, all small gains add up. that's why most tuners sell packages. Under Drive Balancers arn't going to do much for a XR6T if its already sporting 400rwkw but if you don't have it and you come in 2nd at the next dyno comp by 1 kw, whos the fool?
