I bet they only put Bil's and 15% firmer springs in them anyway... some stickers and crap and charge 10k more... force6 isnt doing it for them so they have to move them somehow

Feb Motor says:

"FPV is preparing an optional 'R-spec' suspension and handling kit for the Typhoon and GT, with stiffer springs, tuned dampers and unique cosmetic features."

Fark me, how long has the BA/BF been around? And FPV are finally getting serious about making the things handle as they should. Damn, there might be some competition coming for the ol' T3. Bring it on!

:w00t2::spoton:

f*ck that's some funny sh*t.

Is a T3 an XF?

85tenths off a M5!

Really???

Ok so that should have a "." ... 8.5 tenths or 85 milli seconds ... dahm sharp if you ask me ...

sorry I got distracted by those boobies...

but the XR6T finished 2 spots up on the GTS in the end didnt it  :nono:

Yeah it did ... but if you read the article properly ... you will realise there are some seriously dodgy things going on there ... I think it has been discussed before ... but I will give you a few to wet your appetite.

For example,

- Why is the GTS in the hillclimb when only the top ten made it (it came 18th; clearly out).

- Also, the article mentions that 2 Aussie cars made it. The article goes on to describe them in random order and includes the Typhoon and GTS first up. No other Aussie cars made it ... technically (based on the scores) the Typhoon was the only Aussie there.

- The Lotus also didn’t make it but was in the discussion and pictures.

- The WRX made the top 10 but was not there.

- The M5 and M6 made it but got no mention or pictures.

- How can a GTS be less of a performance car than a SS (particularly considering the track performance it displayed with its 'crappy' auto)? And so on ... there are about 20 issues in there ...

Perhaps the Ford cheque cleared before the Expensive Daewoo one ...

For some reason, Motor has gotten very dodgy in the last 2 years or so. I think everyone’s best bet is to cut the Ford v. Expensive Daewoo crap and buy what is best for them (by evaluating it themselves).

Both the Typhoon and GTS are great cars.

I got mine yesterday as well, I think they were out on normal time. An interesting article in there about the supercharged 380. I hope they go ahead with it, the 380 sure could use an image boost. Also a good article on the new convertible lambo

I have seen a black 380 getting around my area, low with 19 inch rims, doesn't look too bad actually. Wouldn't mind going for a blap in a blown one. Also there is a few aurion's getting around, trying to make a bigger aussie car to rival the Late model camira and falcon, its never going to match the sales figure of Expensive Daewoo and ford, but the solution is very simple.........rear wheel drive. lol

So true, FPVTranny. I won't even consider a Ford V8 until their performance can match the turbos.
