I rang my monkey who said he had some ford PS fluid in the workshop...he hasn't. I couldn't get hold of my monkey again so can someone tell me if there is any issues with mixing the ford PS fluid with caltex PS fluid. Are you getting steering shudder?? . I wouldnt think it would be much of a drama using it.. Have you read your manual. Ford sometimes will mention the brand of oil they use.If you can find out what it is im sure we can go into Rip Every Poor Cvnt Off REPCO and pick some up.I think youll find that ford use mostly Castrol products. I'm thinking about just keeping an eye on it tomorrow and if needed ask the others what they would use and grab a top up if needed. Im pretty sure ford use their own as that's what they monkey said. Castrol from memory is mainly for jap cars. Anyways thanks for the input. I shall be there rain hail or shine. See you all tomorrow and I will have that spare hand held uhf if anyone needs it.
