They replaced LHS rear wheel bearing and hub. I picked the car up this morning and on the way home it almost threw me off the road at the first corner I came to. So it is back in the shop and they have found the whole LHS hub is loose - WTF!!! It seems the monkey maybe didn't tighten the hub retaining nut properly. Anyhow they are pulling it down at this minute to assess the damage and I won't know 'till 5pm if I have it for the weekend or not.PS. I might give the Escort a run ... I rang my monkey who said he had some ford PS fluid in the workshop...he hasn't. I couldn't get hold of my monkey again so can someone tell me if there is any issues with mixing the ford PS fluid with caltex PS fluid.
