Welcome Fiddie, you get around mate.

Yes, dyno runs are normally done in 3rd as it's a 1:1 ratio. 4th gear is overdrive.

It is an awesome figure for bog stock, you should be modding it for sure. Which I know you already have plans to do.

thanks guys for the welcome commity many thanks to those that believe in the true Power of NA 6's its good to be able to go on the net and be able to talk bout an XT or XR6's rather hearing all the same stuff from the guys that have the T (not dis anyone) but yea when I had that run I was so shocked and it was funny at the time cause another guy had a BA XR6 NA but had spent about $4000 on it in exhaust Flash tune etc etc and he only pulled a 147.4rwkw which I found really funny lol

for those that dont know im planing on goin with the DEV3 Kit from JMM I have thought about it long and hard as doogstar already knows and I have read many threads from others who have gone JMM path or even just gone bit by bit, any who I'll let you guys know what my results are once I get the kit and ill also go down the 1/4

OK, now that that's cleared...

that's an awesome power output for an XT... I feel a bit little now that that's come out  ...

How can a 3 valve XT put out soo much power?...

Anyway... if that's what the XT puts out, I hope I can get some good results from CV Performance...

(I couldn't resist commenting  )

Hope to get some runs on the weekend at WSID... Who's going to be available for a run or 2?

- Daniel

All NA Falcon 6s, including the XT, have the same engine (including the 4-valve head) and nominal power output (190 kW). The BF makes a little more power than the BA so 147 rwkw may not be that high for stock.

Hey Daniel,

So much for the low profile.

Best of luck at WSID, make sure you let us know how you go.

I wonder if it's a manual I forgot to ask, manuals will normally pull a higher figure.

AFAIK, stock is normally between 136-140rwkw. Each motor will vary in power so I guess 147 is not out the question.

BA I6 are 24 valve (4 valves X 6 cyl), you are thinking of 8 cyl which are 24 valve (3 valves X 8 Cyl).

Cheers,

Doug
