I think he should have been made to drive an AU Forte around Iraq for 12 months. That's enough.

Or let him hang out in a mud hut in Nimbin for a month with Lumpy armed with a dictionary and a USA today magazine :fool::stirthepot:

hmm I wonder when it will be George Bushes turn.. hes responsible for god knows how many innocent deaths of Iraqi, Afghan civillians.. and even for the deaths of about 3000 American soldiers while hiding behind the WMD and war against terror "campaigns".. politics is a fcuked up world.

fair point...

and our prime minister, little johnny lives right in his back pocket, not to mention the other sidekick tony blair.

3000 us soldiers dead in iraq, how sorry I feel for their kids and families!!!

Excactly what I was thinking when I found out Saddam had been executed. Will Bush Blair and Howard be the next on trial? Killing innocent soldiers and civilians in the name of what? A war against terror? Well guees what, I aint f*ckin terrorfied of the little iraqi kids and women who for some reason always get in the crossfire or are "accidently bombed" in, omfg, a school yard of all places.

It is the western world that is begining to act like terrorists and these three stooges are our leaders.

Happy saddams dead, but hell seems a bit too nice for that bloke. :stirthepot:

any way carry on.

Guys I personally am glad to see the back of him, I am with Jeff on this one. The one thing that we strive to uphold our freedom of speech and democracy will be our downfall not only in this country but the western world.

It makes us a very soft target, point in case whilst we argue amongst ourselves over the rights and wrongs of death penalty, even for a man who killed tens of thousands of people.

The "other side" are united as one and are no doubt planning thier next attack to kill as many westerners, civilians or not as they can.

In the mean time we hold protest rallies in the streets protesting government decisions and condeming the U.S for at least having a dip at trying to stop this crap. I don't see thousands of people in the streets marching against terrorism.

If I can quote Ronnie Johns doing his Chopper character "Harden the f**k up Australia.

Rant over.

his footprints were found at the scene, even his tooth marks were found on bodies and hes "innocent"

saddaam would have been hung again just incase if the evidence was on him.

Good riddance to bad rubbish.

Hanging was too good for him, hed should hve been chucked back in his hole with no food, water or clothes and a heap of ants.

The death penalty can be a good option, as long as the case is proven without a shadow of doubt. If there is even the slightest chance the person did not commit the crime then a lesser penalty should be issued. But, in the case of a deranged child molesting psycopath, then the world is better off without them.

You make an interesting point, I ask you though, do you trust our legal system, to be %100 correct. Let alone other countries legal systems. I do not, this is one of the reasons I am so vehemently against the death penalty.

I do not confess to have the answers as to how to deal with absolute scum of humanity, and god knows there is no shortage. But for me I cannot agree to the death penalty.

Bzzzzt.

The correct answer is: Winston Churchill.

Having said that. I would happily see him hang solely on the basis of the Dardanelles, Crete and Dresden...
