Im going to one of those do it yourself car washes.... the ones with the brush and high pressure hose. They have a degreaser that is meant to be used for the bay.... but im unsure if their is anything in the engine bay that shouldnt get wet....Should I just get a wet rag and wipe everything down???Cheers Mike.... It can be bought from Bunnings and it a great cleaner for anything.It is an enzyme based liquid that eats dirt and oil. I turned a 15 year old VERY dirty engine bay in my old VR4 into an engine bay that looked like it left the factory.You just spray it on and hose it off under normal pressure.I Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Just got back from the car wash and a bit of spirited driving..... The engine bay is all clean but it lacks the 'shine'...
