Congrats Brian, so have you told Simon yet !!! It's a nice Xmas present to yourself.  So what are the future plans for it, I'm sure you've thought it through already.....

So how's the beast going. BTW I love the 4.11s, should have done it months ago.

Cheers

Robin.

Simon knows it's going to happen ... just not the timing.

Don't know the full extent of what I'll do just yet. I still have a spare turbo motor and heaps of spare parts, so there's quite a few options.

The blue beast has a big boost leak, and goes back to Nizpro for the CV upgrade in 3rd week of January, then it'll have to go to Warwick for a gearbox refresh.

Glad you like the 4.11s

Brian

Nice one Brian  :spoton:

bet u have some Big plans for this one

Dal.

Ta, the big unknown is what the auto can handle.

I'd expect to progressively increase power, and have it up to around 400rwkw within 6 months. It's rated at around 900NM capable, but hopefully there'll be more R&D on upgrades for this box in 2007.

These days making the power is easy.... quite a change from our early days of 2003 when we were talking about what we could do with piggybacks.

We can now also get the cars to brake and handle well... and I can do a back to back compare of Alcon & Brembo 6-pot/4pot combos.

Brian

Hey Brian,

Congratulations on your new BF ZF F6 ... they are great to drive and have plenty of potential that's for sure! The body kit, suspension, brakes, rims, and interior are a massive improvement over an XR6T.

The brake comparo is a no brainer ... your Alcons will be the best due to the front 2 piece rotors equipped with alloy hats which have superior heat dissipation abilities over the 355mm FPV cast iron rotors. My Harrops have way more performance than the FPV Brembos mainly due to the rotors larger size {381mm} as well as being a 2 piece design. Aluminium alloys transfer heat almost 3 times quicker than cast iron! :spoton:

All the best for the New Year Brian

Cheers

Justin

Brian... thanks for the Christmas wishes mate...

I've sat here for a few minutes now and can't work out what to write...

So I'll just say this...

You are completely out of all control... and you got Ego as well... that is my dream car.

Good luck with it mate, Nizpro Stage 2 will be obviously on the way??

Well done mate!

Thanks Justin.

The Alcons are excellent; Harrops & Alcons are probabaly best suited for track work; 381mm rotors are probably overkill, and require a full 19" spare.

I look forward to seeing how much power you put into your F6 also.

Happy New Year to you also.

Brian

Thanks... in the words of my wife today .... "you're addicted to these Fords, aren't you" .... just looked at her, smiled, and walked away.... no need to say anything.

Have you ever considered adoption? :spoton:

You're not the first person to suggest this.

My son works for me and contributes to the business, so it's not like it's a freeby.

You might need to let your youngest son Bring the F6 To the office as JP300 and I would like have a look or maybe a quick run against our cars...

OK, for those that don't know my youngest son, who has a starlet turbo, works for JP300+ from this forum (who runs 11.4s in his BA turbo) . I suggested that youngest son ask for a XR6 turbo as his company car, as I know you guys are turbo addicts as well. I think JP300+ should go a F6 as well.
