Congratulations Brian, enjoy :censored:

Thanks.... good luck with your current transmission project, and I admire your persistence; although it looks easier for me to transplant my motor and go-fast parts between cars than what you're currently undertaking.

My son & I will share the 2 Ford turbos and my STi, and we'll share my STi as track car next year.

He drives the cars a lot better than me anyway.

My wife won't him touch "her" 06 Sti.

Have you ever considered adoption? :censored:

You're not the first person to suggest this.

My son works for me and contributes to the business, so it's not like it's a freeby.

Congrats Brian, so have you told Simon yet !!! It's a nice Xmas present to yourself. So what are the future plans for it, I'm sure you've thought it through already.....

So how's the beast going. BTW I love the 4.11s, should have done it months ago.

Cheers

Robin.

WELL DONE Brian, I knew you wanted on on the Bathurst cruise.

After your post about the testdrive the other day, I knew you would get one once you drove it.

Great colour choice, I wanted the TT in Ego, but the wife wanted something different.

It will be interesting to see how many go fats bits you move over, as it would be an awsome F6 if you did the lot.

I hope the wait passes quickly.

Nice one Brian  :spoton:

bet u have some Big plans for this one

Dal.

Ta, the big unknown is what the auto can handle.

I'd expect to progressively increase power, and have it up to around 400rwkw within 6 months. It's rated at around 900NM capable, but hopefully there'll be more R&D on upgrades for this box in 2007.

These days making the power is easy.... quite a change from our early days of 2003 when we were talking & dreaming about what we could/might do with piggybacks.

We can now also get the cars to brake and handle well... and I can do a back to back compare of Alcon & Brembo 6-pot/4pot combos.

No, I'm looking at buying it as a company car. In 6 months I may do a major parts transplant between the cars. It'll give us time to evaluate options.
