He also set the Australian National Speed record at 332.84 mph (that's over 535 kph )Phil read ran the first 4.5 earlier in qualifying. It would have to be one of the best race meets that I have been to although the spectator entry was a bit pricey at $50 a head for each day. - Made it worthwhile being an entrant though.I picked up over 2 tenths for the current engine combo (10.15 secs @ 129.8 mph) with a best 60 ft for the car of 1.37.
