How old was the battery?  Did you notice it going?

I had mine go a little while back. No notice at all and had the same symptoms mentioned - secuity code came on - ticking noise whilst trying to start. The battery was about 2.5 years old.

In both the pics I havent changed the fog lights for comparison. (I did both headlights and though SH!T pics!!! so its the best comparo I have) The headlights are the new ones... Heaps better at night and look sweet, none of the yellow that it had with the standard lights...

Same here though my battery was only bout 9mth old, the day before I topped up the battery with distilled water bout 10mm in each cell, was ok the next morning then tryin to get home, no warning click click click secuirty code error, nrma had to hook up 2x batteries via jumpers to get her started got me to battery shop and replaced free warranty.

A mates *cough* Late model camira did same thing and again it took jumper leads from the BA plus a portable battery to start it.

Whats the go with eletrics in new cars needing so much juice to jump start em.
