Funny Booze buses were mentioned. I remeber talking to some VIC coppers many years ago about booze buses, about a year after there implementation. The hierachy in the VIC police, ordered there booze bus operators to use them in times when it was unlikely to pick up drink drivers, so the statistics, would show a sudden drop in the occurence of drink driving. This in turn justified the expenses of Booze buses, and so they could buy some more.

Statistics hey ,what a handy tool they are.

Scotty

These stats are grosely fudged year after year!

Hey headsex ,

Good idea , start a thread showing you have learnt your evil ways and maybe you can use it in court to get a more lenient sentence (juste delete this post though).

Honestly I think us aussies have be come a bunch of wimps, our fathers wouldn`t have put up with this crap, 1st speed cameras, hoon laws, not being able to smack your children when naugthy and all the other bullsh*t crap laws that sneak in.

it has nothing to do with safety or anything else just revenue raising that's my 2 cent.

Confiscate the car for a week ,a month f*ck even a year, but sell it for profit that's BULLsh*t.

100% correct IMHO Stang. Its amazing what weve let happen to our rights here as we have been guided along by one of the greatest political liars in parlimentary history. Fancy these wankers being able to just take cars at the descretion of the so called law when we have some of the most crooked politicians and police forces in the world. The thing that gives me a little comfort is knowing that most of these pricks get a good belting on average of 3 times a year. I know there are some good genuine ones among them, but after seeing first hand what they can get protected from and get away with in WA. Trouble is once they were police, there to uphold laws, now most of them are just the a$$holes from school who nobody liked who actually believe speed cameras and communistic legislation save lives.

ALL POLITICIANS LIE TO ALL PEOPLE ALL OF THE TIME and the coppers have become there lackies :spoton: Things like this make me sick, and I'm glad to be leaving what was once such a great country. The people here better pull their heads out of the sand before theres no freedom or rights left IMHO :roflmbo:

I have a question about the hoon laws in nsw.

if I had lost a car 10 years ago for a sustained loss of traction, impounded for 6 months. does the time ever run out for a second offence.

I mean if I do a wheelie now I will lose my car for good as a second offence :roflmbo:
