Good post to, gives all us Vic members an insight to what should happen if were caught. Knowing this has got me thinking twice about stepping it out next time I suppose. Guess your going to be spending a lot of time on msn for the next couple of days

Here in NSW the fines are touch bigger, you lose your car for a lot longer and if you ever do it again, you lose the car forever, even if its not yours. How terrible they went and did there job. Yeah lets see them go lock up all those pot smoking drug dealers because its more serious than someone who runs a red light while drink driving and kllls a bunch of pedestrians crossing the road. Traffic enforcement is just important as criminal. Edited 22/12/06 11:12 PM by Iconic Bionic

The cops have assigned roles and jobs, in saying that, just because a cop is doing RBT, doesn't mean he can't go and police another matter if its popped up or is causing problems. What do you want the cops to do when they see that type of driving behaviour?? turn the other way with their head in the sand and say... "he doesn't look like a drug dealer or a killer, lets pretend we didn't see that" And out of interest zedman, how do you expect cops to chase up drug dealers?? stop and search every car they see? or every person that "might" look suss?? a lot of investigation has to go into that sort of stuff.. imagine how much time they'd waste stopping and searching everyone who "looked" like a dealer.. a lot more time then pulling some one over for alleged "hoon" driving. Good on headsex for being open, honest and taking the rap like a man. Bad luck anyways mate, unfortunately there's a lot of hoon drivers out there and the cops can't get them all, unlucky for you they were in the area I know that I could have been done a few times no doubt, as I'm sure most on this forum could have too if their luck was up.. we're not angels 100% of the time. Second time is for 1 monthMean while the cops could have been chasing drug dealers, theives and other bad guys, but it was nice of them to stand there and look after you after like that. What a joke!Zedman←They were chasing the bad guys, someone doing a burnout and driving unsafe. This is the type of traffic management policing that should be ruled out. Police who have no f*cking idea how a car works, a chip on their shoulder as big as my arse scrutinizing the RWC of a car should be given a right kick in the head and told to get out there and do some real work. The countless times I have seen in the security industry, which I used to work in, the laziness of some police really astounds me. Though I have met and some real good police out there who are 100% dedicated to their job and carry it out in a professional manner, which they should be commended for. I suppose you get the good and the bad with everything. Before anyone decides to quote this and flame me because of it I do not disagree with these hoon laws ect and if you do the crime you do the time, simple. I know police have a job to do but my above comments are purely there to illustrate a few things which can give the police force a bad name, its one thing to do your job, its another thing when your a complete c*#t about it. Like in the above situation you really don't mind copping the punishment so long as the police member was nice and professional with is approach. Not the first wheres to come out of their mouth "so why you driving like a f*cking idiot, im going to do this, that, this" ect. But I suppose you find social misfits everywhere in society who have no clue how to function when it comes to a situation, I really pity those people.
