After reading this post I have just pulled mine apart. clamp wasnt removable but managed to get it off with the clamp... and back on. If I loose everything ill know where to look and have to go buy a small clamp. Its on its 5 min idle at the moment, then a test drive :jump:

Yep. :)

Edit: My car is close to stock, used to read 4 psi, now 6.

Nice!

Thread needs sensationalist title rename. "WD40 applications for increasing boost 50% no tune required!"

So what about just popping the hose off the compressor housing and squirting lube into there towards the solenoid rather than removing the battery and all that jazz ?

I never remove battery! Can just about do it pulling hose off the top of the solenoid by itself but I move overflow bottle & unclip its mount instead to make it easier.

I just tried this. Car feels like it has a bigger tune. Boost is more crisp. spools quicker.

but.........Boost spiked to 25psi and then went off the guage (30psi reading). . . .

So why does that happen??
