Glad to hear it if that's the case! Just looks like a black dial from what I can see with a torch.. So thought I should make sure I Haven't thrown anything out of whack.

Just noticed today when I have the ignition on without car running and push the throttle at about half throttle the boost solenoid starts buzzing is that normal ??? I noticed it while trouble shooting some other problems I have with my T at the moment

FordXR6Turbo DIY - Boost Solenoid

Boost solenoid maintenance where we have "the Doc" aka daztbo showing us how to spray some WD40 into the 2 hose pipes leading into the boost solenoid to give your T a new bounce in boost :msm: After it was done - couldn't believe it could makes such a difference but boost felt like it was coming on nice and strong :thumbsup:

Caveat emptor DIY this tip! Enjoy :beerchug:

Managed to do this trick today,boy what a difference,managed to do it without moving the battery or pipe,just unscrewed the solenoid bracket and wollaaa! I highly recommend this made a big difference down low,boosting hard again! Chin chin

just make sure the cleaner is safe for use on rubber parts otherwise it well make sweet sweet love to the diaphragm in the solenoid.
