I bought a new solenoid from Parramatta Ford in NSW $48. Also bought some new boost hose and small clamps from super cheap - replaced in 1 hr, runs much better now!I did it last night, Just pulled the hose off the solenoid and sprayed it. To be honest I notice just a mild difference than before, not too much. The car does spool up louder, but generally it was worth the effort. Took me ages to do though, then I realised I should of taken the battery out first lol.

It's spooling up way quicker, and comes on boost immediately now. Car feels like it's brand new.

Hopefully he can be contacted by somebody who has his details and he can re-supply the pictures so we can host them directly on this site so that they won't ever disappear like this again For now, though... there's a YouTube clip on how to do it
