Pods are not illegal. They are only illegal if they are run together with another induction modification (Intercooler). I think by adding a pod its more hasstle then its worth, plus you won't really feel the difference in power. Go get a quality high flow panal filter, that'll be your best bet...

worth giving it a shot, what ive been told is the a pod filter is legal aslong

as it inclosed, so if its showing and not closed off then it would be illegal.

It doesnt matter if its not boxed up, that's not illegal, just if it runs together with another induction mod it is...

I was pulled over down south Goulbourn by a very nice XR8 driving Highway Cop, who after reading the NOS badge on my car wanted to go all over it.

Never Bull S H I T these guys they know when your trying it on them.

There I was with no cover over my Ram Air Pod (because AWC had it when they made me a cool custom cover).

Big Copper said: "where's the cover on that airfilter"

I said: "Sorry about that its in Sydney, I know it should be on there but a company's making me a new one"

The Cop was so Suprised, he said: " in all my years Ive never had a guy who didn't try to bull sh*t me about a cover, they always say, I didn't know"

After that he looked at my NOS set up and said: "thanks for not bull sh*tting me about anything"

I answered all his questions and was vasually sh*tting bricks (I lost all my cool), He let me go and I went back to the outlaw's house and almost died.

Respect these guys and you'll find most of them are real people and will respect you back.

Sorry to go off topic, pod in the air box should work well, pick up a BA XR8 pod box it'll work better.

I've got a pod inside a standard box, but I got an EF not an XR6T. I do notice a difference with it and I did do a tech doc on Ford Mods if its any help but I don't have a clue what the XR6T box is like. Couldn't you just get an XR8 one for a pod?
