Guys, get the terminology right OK...

STREET RACING IS NOT DRAG RACING

Its hard enough when the media can't get it right and we seem to cop the blame for every tool out there who wraps himself around a pole.

Let alone the ammunition it gives our opponents....

Thought you guys should know better, I know its frustrating, believe me!

but wev'e honestly got nothing to gain by making a nuisance of ourselves,at this stage anyway.

The guys in Canberra are currently considering another rally within the city centre and I will notify all when we finalise a date.

Dont worry...if the time comes for more action ll let you all know :spoton:

"STREET RACING" - seems to me you are the only poster to use that term in this thread ... so what are you on about?

My post was entirely TIC ... maybe you missed the smilie.

Anyhow, keep hammering away ... get a bigger hammer if you need to make more noise. :spoton:

And I can tell you that we havent given up yet either....

Just wait and see what happens next... Canberra drag racing is far from dead. :stupid:

There will be an opportunity at the next election. The current (and outgoing) ACT government has now broken another election promise, and caved in to the brown cardigan brigade. Some elements of society should be sterilised so at least they can't breed. :roflmbo:

If the old track gets rekindled then hopefully they will spend the already allocated $8m or so and turn it into a 1/4 mile. This could also be a boost for the Nats too.
