Insurance is approved by what you notify them on the day you take it out. It's a snapshot of your driving history up to that point. That's what they base the risk and therefore the premiums on. If they're saying that your policy is void, this means it should not of been in place at all and they should/have to refund you the premiums you paid during that time. A company cannot insure someone and collect premiums if they're not eligible. It's called duty of disclosure and if you've forgotten to tell them something, all that will happen is at claim time, they'll decline the claim and refund your premiums as it shouldn't of been set in force to begin with. I'd definitely be looking into this further. I sell insurance for a living and it looks like they're trying to pull the wool over your eyes or they've a hidden clause in their contracts.Just trying to help, good luck mate Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
