Well its time for a good old fashon rant.

Yes as the title says my car was in AGAIN to ford for Diff number 4 and to get the shocks changed. Got the call for this around 2 weeks ago

Yes you read correctly. Anyway so I drop the car in talk to the guy and said they'll give me a call.

I get said call, go to the dealer and have a chat with the mechanic. He said that the diff has been done but they had a problem with the order and now he has to get the shocks from melbourne. He further told me that He wanted to get them from City ford( currently in stock) but it would cost too much as the car has had too much spent on it for warrranty work already. This was according to the service manager.

Last time I checked I was the customer and I really dont care how much it costs. ALL THAT I WANT IS THE CAR TO BE FIXED!!!

Dont get me wrong the mechanic is good and tells me whats happening with his service managers. He has always been honest with me

So I digest this and accept the fact that its going in again.

The mechanic also told me that he took the car for a drive and reckond that the Box was really hard to shift NEWS TO ME. He wants to take out the box and have a look at the clutch and flywheel.

What should I do about the box. It feels normal to me and has been like this since the day I bought it. I wouldnt mind getting someone off the forum who owns a T with a T56 to take my car for a drive and tell me what they think about the shift quality. I really would prefer that they leave it for the fact that im over taking it in there.

The car has had too much warranty work done and this guy wants to pull the box out so he can just look at it . You have got to be kidding me

if he wants to give u a new box let him do it.

mines noisy as and my dealer says its fine.

he says the clutch is fine clunk clunk

says the diff is fine clunk clunk.

I get the car back with the hoses finger tight and leaking.

they forgot to fix the turbo drain when I told them to fix it

handbrake is over adjusted and squeaks now

steering clunks ... normal says ford.

theres more, trim fit and finish.

I told the guy to go fk himself and have payed to fix most of my problems.

my ford dealer made up my mind to mod they can shove the warrenty and the bl falcon up there ass as far as im concerned.

u said it was a rant iv had the latest model falcon since the late 90s ford credit love me.

but ford could not give a sh.t about the customer the people that buy the cars that make the money to make more cars to keep them in buisness.

and as for mods if it wasnt for us modding and whooping the holdens the xr6turbo would not have the street cred that it has .

they need to remember that this is a 50 thousand dollar sports car not an old clunky datto

Hey Guys,

I've so far got nothing but praise for Sunshine Ford on the Goldie.

I've owned the car now for about three months, (05/04) and been into them about three times for warranty work, and the 70K service.

They have been accomodating to all my requests, tried to weasel out of replacing both headlights, but gave in at the end. I have had about 3k worth of repairs carried out under warranty without too much argument from either party.

It's back in the shop tomorrow for a diff leak! Warranty work for free. And I'm sure it will be back.
