So I rang my car broker and with one phone call and not really shopping around he already had someone willing to pay $23K ++ for it. So I told the dealer to shove it. I am going to give it another week or two, to see if I can sell it privately if not I will trade in.

He also thinks he can get me a better deal on a brand new XR6T rather than a demo. So I will see what he comes up with first. If he can't come up with anything better I can always go back to the dealer and take the offer.

I would personaly be a bit worried bout buying new in regard to the amount that you will loose when you drive the thing out of the lot. Mate when I bought my car it was 6months old with 15k the guy bought it for around the 48-50k mark and in the six months that he had it it lost 15k!!!. This was back in may 2005 btw so prices should even be better Edited 17/01/07 07:26 AM by revheadrobbo

However, it is a manual and I really want the 6 speed auto so I will see what he can come up with for me.
