I saw one tonight sitting on the m1 at oxenford with his hand held radar checking for speeders.

They look hot.

what $$$ you reckon we can pick these cars for up at the auctions when the cops are done with them?

Will it kill re-sale on the F6?

$35,000?????

Are the manual or Auto?

They get unloaded when they hit 40,000kms, I dont think that the resale value will suffer given that they have very few in numbers too.

Some poor bugger in an NA XR6 got done by one of the candy cars (as they are affectionately called over the air waves) coming in to an 80 zone on a steep down-hill stretch at Gin Gin the other night.....thank f*ck he was in front of me or I would have ended up with one of those pretty little yellow Christmas cards.

Have seen four different ones over the last week in my travels - at least you get pinged in style I guess :censored:

police cars have their speed limiter removed and their speedo goes up in 2.5km increments, this is so they can trail you and calculate your speed accurately without a radar. All the cop cars I have worked on in Queensland have had both of these modifications done. The older falcon cop cars also had a different interior light assembly, simular to an EB/ED assembly. Base model detective cars also had lowered suspension and different shocks. I hope that can help.

what I was trying to get at was these cop Typhoons will be different to a Typhoon that the average Joe can buy off a dealer and could and I stress COULD be considered more desirable in years to come as they are a low volume produced POLICE CHASE TYPHOON. Some people get off on stuff like that.
