These things are a good idea and can't fig out why FPV don't fit them to their BOSS donks.

All that carring on about burning to much oil in the Bosses and all they need in one of these.

Mate of mine crys about how much oil his GT eats and yet will not spend $50 to $100 to fix it.

Good track mod for weekend punters too. Well done on the photos and on this mod.

I dont think thatll fix his oil consumption problem. to ford its all about emissions (recycling them).that's why they are not fitted :spoton::spoton:

I bought one yesterday at the Rare Spares stand at the Nats. Looks to be the exact same one as you've used.

Just installed it this morning. I put mine just in front and to the left of the power steering reservoir. Will be interesting to see how much oil it collects.

Has any one fitted one of these to the stock Plumbing.

Heres where I installed my one. I think it's the same one as seventytwo mentioned, Drift spec, anyway it's a good size for where I put it next to the airbox. Check out the pics. Looks a bit more stealth than the others which I like. :lookaround:

Well I finally fitted the $50 catch can the other night after spraying the boost solenoid. I had bought this over a year ago and couldn't find a suitable place to fit it so I decided that it was fine where it is in the pics.

I used left over fuel hose to connect it to the existing line. The catch can is empty inside so I was thinking of buying one of the old metal scouring pads to put inside it to grab the oil as it enters?

Anyway thought you would all be interested as a cheap option.

do many guys fit these breather tanks into there falcons apart from the guys in this thread?

Im thinking about doing a custom batch of breather tanks to suit the falcons.

Any suggestions or ideas as to where the best spot to locate it would be great and also some ideas on shapes/volume etc would be handy as I will custom make them for the most popular size/shape/location.

Seems a few guys just go the cheapest and most generic design possible lets think outside the square here but not to tricky so as we can keep the costs down.

All interested parties throw up some ideas and suggestions and lets see if we carnt make it happen for everyones benefit.

Cheers guys

Problem with breathers is that you will get defected if inspected by epa or a meber of the law as you are venting to the atmosphere.

Hey ben,

Does it matter which hose goes in and out of the catch can?

also how did you secure your catch can as there is stuff all room in there.

cheers pete.
