Looking to buy and fit an aftermaket intercooler in the new year. The wogcooler looks the goods according to the many threads devoted to it.

Has anyone fitted one of these themselves. I have a BA MKII manual and would like to know if the cooler comes with everything you need and what (if any) are the pitfalls when fitting one of these?

Ta. :spoton:

I fitted mine myself in about an hour and a half. It would of been alot easier if I had someone to hold it in place while I tightened the brackets but it's still possible on your own.

I also fitted mine. Its pretty straight forward if your good with ya hands. You wont need any extra stuff, it bolts up in place of the original one ( same pipes). It would make it easier to also have a second set of hands , getting the bumper on/off, holding the cooler, and to pass the beer!!

Im ment to be picking mine up tonight, when Nick farken calls me back :crybaby:

I will be doing a proper write up on install and I shall also be testing it for temp drop compared to stock cooler, well it will be a crude test but will give some definitive results on its cooling capability. So far I measured on a stone cold 10 degree night the std cooler droped 20 degrees across the core. Stay tuned

Ian

I have and it takes about an hour if you have a mate that is a mechanic and is prepared do do the lot himself while you sit back and watch.

Good sound advice there Marcus
