Guest Guests Posted 13/12/06 11:27 AM Share Posted 13/12/06 11:27 AM Hi all,Just picked up my car from Simon (Xtreme) this afternoon after he performed his magic and ended up with 305rwkw on 13lbs of boost I was stoked when I picked it up but unfortunately my T5 wasn't and it let go I never had any whining or crunching before so it was a bit of a surprise when it went.Car still felt strong as even with no 2nd gear so can't wait til I get a new box in her. Lots of fun ahead me thinks

When you get a rear wheel bouncing under load. Ford pretty much perfected it in the IRS AU, but it does not seem to be so prevalent in the control blade rear, though the live rear is still bad for it, hence the reason mkI utes kill second gear. Guest Guests Posted 13/12/06 12:02 PM Share Posted 13/12/06 12:02 PM Yeah that's the one. I was hoping to go down to the motorplex tonight but that idea was short lived. I only made it about 1km up the road from Simon's house.

I just posted on your other thread asking about a T56.. please feel free to delete that post mods.. as I didn't see this thread, and this is the place for me to discussMy T5 has lasted great so far... since april.. running 304rwkw. Put at least 9000kms on it.. with the odd squirt. I must be a real granny driver Ben (WTB56), I have one of your option 2 clutches that shudders and gets a bit of hop now and then.. some times its worse then others. You guys didn't install the clutch it was done here in canberra.. I take it that shudder isn't good for the box?? I got a feeling that maybe it wasn't installed properly, or the flywheel wasn't machined very well! Again, it's not always... only some times depending on how I take off. I had to re-bleed the clutch initially and that helped heaps. I'm pretty conservative on the gearbox, and I'm yet to drop the clutch. Fingers crossed it holds on for at least another year. If it does blow, I'll either upgrade to a T56, or I'll put another T5 in and make it last till I sell the car/trade it in..

I may have sent it twice due to the msg as I didn't see my post, so I clicked send again then I realised why. As it must be in the market section and mods are trying to clean that area of the forum up to stop non relevent posts.
