or is there a bottlo between the beach and your place? :spoton:

Nope....Centerlink

Could be using a Naval Amphibious flatform as tghey often conduct joint exercises with the Navy.

Such Vessels as ther LPA class HMAS Manoora, HMAS Kanimbla and also HMAS Tobruk. In saying that however, once they (Army Aviators) are qualified and up to date with deck landings, and Naval Vessel that can accomodate a Sea Hawk chopper (Navys version of BlackHawk) can have a Blackhawk land on its deck.

Hmmm, don't think there's one floating off shore around here though. So where be it from? One way range of 500 mile. I guess from Sunny Coast to Sydney and out to Moree?

They seemed to be doing low level terrain following excercises? He wasn't very high at all. He had to 'pull up' to go over One Man at Angourie as the highest elevation (according to Google Earth) in that area is 150 foot!

Hey Lumpy, mate I saw two Black Hawks refueling at Coffs Airport bout a year ago whilst I was upgrading a PC in the control tower, when they left they didnt just launch vertical like you would expect, but they had to fly like 20 feet above ground tracking the taxi ways until over the runway, where they both tilted bout 30 degrees and took off like planes. :msm:
