Guest Guests Posted 12/12/06 11:59 PM Share Posted 12/12/06 11:59 PM Could be using a Naval Amphibious flatform as tghey often conduct joint exercises with the Navy.Such Vessels as ther LPA class HMAS Manoora, HMAS Kanimbla and also HMAS Tobruk. In saying that however, once they (Army Aviators) are qualified and up to date with deck landings, and Naval Vessel that can accomodate a Sea Hawk chopper (Navys version of BlackHawk) can have a Blackhawk land on its deck.D Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/31088-one-for-the-aviation-buffs/page/2/#findComment-475882 Share on other sites

So where be it from? One way range of 500 mile. I guess from Sunny Coast to Sydney and out to Moree? They seemed to be doing low level terrain following excercises? He wasn't very high at all. He had to 'pull up' to go over One Man at Angourie as the highest elevation (according to Google Earth) in that area is 150 foot!Lumpy Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/31088-one-for-the-aviation-buffs/page/2/#findComment-475918 Share on other sites
