Need a second car and have $5000 to spend straight up.

Im after a 4 cylinder that is turbo'd and rear wheel drive or 4wd or something that can be turboed quite easily.

Any one got any ideas.

Currently I can think of

Laser tx3 turbo

Mazda 323(front wheel drive :()

Mitsubishi starion

Any other ideas?

Is there a Mazda 323 Turbo?

I'd also consider Toyota Corolla GTI, not a turbo but its zippy.

Be good if you can pick up a Tx3 turbo 4wd.. Bit of a fiddle with the boost and they go good

Nissan Bluebird U12 SSS. CA18DET or SR20DET and Nissan's ATTESSA System.

Nissan Pintara Ti or TRX. FWD 2.4L N/A but there's a few with Turbo KA24E's or the CA18DET and SR20DET slip straight in. Also come with an Limited Slip Diff Standard.

Pulser ET Turbo.

Lumpy :crybaby:

try looking on tx3 forums. not sure of the exact addy but u should be able to google them and find easily. My brother found his that way. The older bubble models are cheaper but obviously the newer models were better. Gearboxes are pretty weak. But allround a nice zippy little car. let me know how u go with it

I was looking for a cheap racecar/drift car for track only.

My shortlist was a Toyota AE71 Corolla (or KE70 with the 4ag motor) as it can have a 4AGZE motor bolt straight in. This will give you about 100rwkw and has heaps of power upgrade mods. there are a few driving around with 160+rwkw.

Cheap to own and modify.
