Check ALL fluids and brakepads.

45 psi front 42 rear

Only drive 80% or it could end in tears

Make sure you have plenty of tread and brake pads left.

Run higher pressures (45psi or so), and keep an eye on your tyres between sessions.

Use engine braking as much as possible to aleviate some pressure from your brakes.

Always do a warm up lap or two, and a cooldown lap or two. When back in pits do not use the hand brake, and do not leave your foot on the brake or the pads can melt onto the rotor. So try find a nice level surface to park on.

Most of all, go there with the intention of driving the car home :roflmbo:

All above advice is spot-on.

If you haven't been on the track before - before you go out find someone who has - follow them around to get an idea of the racing line. Change up at 5500 rpm. Try using higher gears rather than lower ones if you aren't sure - pulling too low a gear (say second) on a tight corner while under brakes may snap the back out rather suddenly. Better to go into the corner in a higher gear with good car balance.

have fun.

As above...plus double check wheel nuts.

If you have ever had struts or calipers removed before I'd double checks most strut and caliper nuts. I'm a bit paranoid as I once had a rear nut holding a rear strut come off when going down the main straight at Oran Park.

You will need helmet.

Have fun.
