But I noticed tonight that they do both the upper grille and lower grille kits in chrome or satin black.Which looks better - chrome or black? The pics are hard to distinguish because it doesn't show the entire car, only the front bumper with the mesh.Anyone have decent pics of what it looks like on their car?TIA

I'm not entirely happy with taking a 'hacksaw blade' anywhere near my car to fit the lower grille.I'm also not happy with fitting the upper grille over the top of the exisitng grille. You can still see the original black grille showing through (placed grille over the top to see how it looked) and it's only held down by zip ties.Very disappointed to say the least. The silver over the black did worry me at first but you have to look very closely to see it and I think it looks great

Guest Guests Posted 18/01/07 02:58 AM Share Posted 18/01/07 02:58 AM When I had fitted the AWC XR8 Bonnet and BF Typhoon front bar fitted last year, I couldn't quite pick what made the front of my ute look still so different from that of a BF Typhoon (disregarding bonnet)Walking past a Black Typhoon, I notice that the entire front was sprayed the 'sillhouette' and didnt have the grey mid section (see picture)The meshing that came with the front bar, that too was painted to blend in perfectly with the front bar and the rest of the vehicle.Works for me D.
