Will get there one day. I have actually been chatted a couple of times cause of speed but because I cant drive for sh!t and my Et is crap they arent bothered (at this point). I actually went and asked Ray from the Plex about it(23rd April 08) and he said then that not til under 11 sec pass would I we need one. Dean mentioned this new 115mph thing that might be an issue as I've done several runs at 113.8mph. Plus I haven't bought anything for the car for ages. Looked like an easy buy. Luke You need the As/NZs 1968 standard sticker on your helmet these days. We got our at the helmet house in Vic Park $80. they are open face and NOT attractive but apparently do the job. Esky copped some the other night about open face but same night I had mine - nothing said.... Go figure... D

Guest Guests Posted 27/02/09 03:53 AM Share Posted 27/02/09 03:53 AM
Guys, After speaking with a few shops I have finally secured a discounted price on 4 point harnesses that meet the ANDRA requirements for Super Street. This allows you to run 11.0 - 11.99 without being told to leave so long as you also have a S/ST license & Tailshaft Loop fitted as well. The item in question is a RPM 2" belt that has quick release clips to allow easy installation. Makes it handy for those of us that just drive our street cars at the drags & don't want a harness left in permanately... RRP on these is $195 & I have been told we can have them for $175 in any of the 3 colours they are available in (Red, Blue, Black) once we have 10 people confirmed, and cheaper if we have more interested. They also do the mounting plates needed & I have been advised that 3 will be necessary for proper fitting. They retail for $18.50ea but we can get them for $9.50ea when purchasing with a harness. Total cost on these will be $203.50 + postage if you require it but I'm sure these will fit in an Australia Post overnight bag, keeping the cost down. Usually, you'd pay $250+ for this belt so it's a saving of ~$50. I will leave this open for 2 weeks & see where we are at. If there isn't much interest I'll just pay rrp & all others interested will have to also. Seeing as they're only ~$80, it might just be worth paying rrp. Cheers, Dean Dean (03XR6T) - 1 Harness Adrian (Adrian6t) - 1 Harness Matt (Ford_Esky) - 2 Harnesses Mark & D (Lil_Bodes) - 1 Harness possibly??

Ghosti NOT THERE!... THERE! Member 852 Member For: 16y 6m 16d Gender: Male Location: Melbourne Posted 02/03/09 05:51 AM Share Posted 02/03/09 05:51 AM (edited) To anyone interested in the Drift gauges; I've got some rough prices that will be confirmed tomorrow (lookin' good ). I also have 4 samples of the gauges sitting on my desk. They look really good in the flesh (imo) and seem to come with everything needed to fit up. Senders, wiring, vac hose (boost), instructions. I've yet to see them powered up IRL, however all the pictures look fairly consistent, so I think we can safely assume that while the colour isn't a perfect match for the XR dash, it's close enough for most people. Will probably start the thread tomorrow once I have 100% final pricing.
