i don't think there are that many people looking to go to 4.11's in the 6's, well maybe not enough to warrant a good saving for a group buy...

I'd be in on a group buy for clutches. Might try and organise something...

yeah twin plate - probably something that will hold 400+rwkw. That way everyone can use it. Give me a day or so, i'll be looking at the Textralia Twin Plate, seems like its getting good results with a good price. I know RAP1D has a package - hmmmm
What about this for a group buy?

Get a tuner/mechanic to do bottom ends;

rods = $ 1000
pistons = $ 700
balance = $ 300
gaskets, etc = $ 500
labour = $ 1000
---------
total = $ 3500

Surely this price is possible.
Im sure there will be lots of customers :buttonit:
wow i missed that one, i have a guy here in NSW that would do it no problem. He isn't a workshop though, that may put some people off. He is my mate and built my engine with no dramas. The build doesn't actually take very long if it is the only thing you have to do.

OK Guys and Gals, I need to see a show of hands for those interested in a Group buy for Textralia Twin Plate clutches with matching flywheel. Once i get an idea on how many people are interested then we can get a price from Textralia

Hey Pat - Clutch is probably the next thing i need to look at...
Id be interested in looking at a GB but whether id have the money in the next 2 months or so im not sure...

Was thinking either Tex Twin plate, Mal woods options 3 or option 5.Iv had no experience with any of them so would be interested to see how they drive and peoples opinions on them...

OK, well RAP1D has the Tex Twin Plate in his car and from what i saw the other night it is fairly easy to use considering its clamping force. 7MA61 also uses this clutch as fitted by CV and seems happy with it.

I will send Mal a PM about the Option 5, i don't believe the Opt 3 would be very good above 400 due to the organic nature of this clutch.

Also the Textralia Twin plate would be a group buy organised via myself and RAP1D Systems, not directly via Textralia.

Ok Sounds good - Agreed the Opt 3 is probably not for 400+ but its probably just what I am considering getting when I have the money...

Or an F6 AP Twin plate. Ill be watching your prices with interest Senna...

Cheers.
