This means that next year you can punt some one off the track and only get a drive though for it so that will bring back some agro into it.

I hope the little wa**er gets punted into the wall in mthe first race next year and can not drive for half the year.

He is a scum sucker and does not deserve to be even be classed as even half a champion.

Couldn't agree more - bring on next season and let the demolition derby begin.

BUT WAIT! No, it won't happen because AVESCO will change the rules during the off-season to protect the little fukker and all their darling HSV teams.

on another forum....

What is the relevence of a BA with a 302 Hollinger and 9 inch diff?Or worse A VZ with a 305 Chev Hollinger and 9 inch diff? You can't buy either of them off the showroom floor .

Plenty of other categories where you can watch Expensive Daewoo v Ford where the cars are much closer to the real thing.eg-Australian Performance Car series.Production Car championship.Saloon cars and V8 brutes.

An XR6 turbo won the production car title and an AU won Saloon cars

Everybody knew he wouldn't get pinged for it, it's just that none of the Ford runners had the balls to put the little *beep* into a wall.

He punted Craig off on lap 2, he should never have been allowed to get through that race without being taken out by one of the Fords. Then let the stewards try explain why he can take Craig out but none of the Fords could take him out.

Maybe everyone learned a thing or two today. Roll on V8 demolition derby 2007

I have to agree with you there.. What happended to racing the car that was off the show room floor. I think that this has been lost in the development of the category. I would prefer to see this on telly

I have started to loose interest in the V8's this year and due to this balls up I dont think ill be watching it as much

Production car racing still exists, it is just not backed and promoted like the v8's are.

one of our members here XR6 PROD races in that series with his xr6T :idunno:

I think they have alot more freedom's than 'Series Production' from the 60's and early 70's though?

Not quite as free as Group C but still not production.

Off the floor with Free Brake Pads, DOT Approved Tyres and cage only IMHO.

One has to wonder why the Ford teams did not try to help, once they saw what Expensive Daewoo were doing..... all that was need would be for a slower ford driver to put the *beep* off.... take a drive through, and the title would have gone the other way.... Ford learnt that the hard way.....

On the other hand, the fact that they DID not stoop to low tactics like Holden, only re-inforces what Lowndes said tonight that FORD ARE THE MORAL CHAMPIONS this year..... they held their heads high even in defeat..... a true mark of a champion.....

Still, I would expect and hope we see a bit of payback next year.......
