I run full slicks and front runners at wsid all the time.

if you go faster than 12.0 they will want to see a tail shaft loop and 4 point harness anyway so choosing radials over slicks for that reason doesent make sense.

I use 15" weld racing wheels with an 8mm spacer plateat the back and they fit no problems over the caliper.

you will need front runners aswell as using radial fronts and rags at the back is a recipe for disaster, you will hit the wall.

Drag slicks are what is called a bias ply tyre which has no steel radial belts as your normal road tyre does, the 2 different designs behave very diferently to each other and for that reason cannot be used together.

The real world situation is that the rear slicks will walk all over the track and the radial front are too twitchy and you will have great trouble steering the thing. Just ask the countless people who have hit walls around the world cause they thought they knew better.
