It says that the car will be fitted with tubs to accomodate 12 inch slick, plus ladder bars.

Ladder Bars on an IRS! I'd like to see that!

Maybe he got around the CV issue by fitting a 9"??

From memory that was XITMNT (??)

XITMNT if its blue I was running him last friday night quick car but not 9 sec'c worth, if that's the car?.He was droping mad coolers aswell and eating every car on the road.

WTF is a mad cooler, is it meant to be a burnout, or skid?

Scotty

The expression "drops mad coolers"

is like hearing a loud BOV like a VL TURBO if you know what I mean.

Yes that's XITMNT. Stunning car presentation wise, and a good solid set-up. This car has already ran a mid 11 second pass previously, but enough is obviously never enough! All the best to him. :roflmbo:

Hi Guy's looking forward to coming out to play soon. Yes it was me out last Friday night and yes the car was not a 9 second car on the night as at present it is only running on 10 psi as it has only got its factory in tank pump fitted. I am picking up my fuel cell this Friday and fitting it and the 2 new pumps. Then we will be able to tune the car to its full potential with this engine. Craig is right in saying that power does mean quick times as we have been playing with the suspension set up for a while now and that's where the possability of the 9" live axle might replace the IRS. We just want to have another go with the IRS before we rip it out. The delema is that we have tried all along to keep it a street car with its original rear end.

The car made 423 RWK at 12 PSI @ 4200 rpm at the Show Off car Show I could not rev the car anymore as it started to lean out. It was not tuned at that stage as we rushed to put the car together for the show and managed to get it there at 1030 Sat morning. At that point the car still had the in tank pump + one 044 pump. Since then I have decided to redo the entire fuel system (fuel rail, pumps, fuel cell, lines and pressure reg) so I cant even tell you what its making at the moment. I only took it out Friday night as I have missed not being able to drive it.
