Here's my wish list of things to add to the Orion:

- Built in bluetooth for mobilephones like the Bluetooth Parrot with address book display in the dash or Head Up Display (HUD) and keys on the steering wheel.

- Built in GPS not only for navigation but also for speed timings.

- Head Up Display projected onto the front window with digital speedo, compass heading, GPS lats and longs, yaw/role and other interesting things related to the car - like done on fighter jets. It may not cost too much to do this.

- Built in front and rear distance parking sensors.

- Built in 12V DC / 240V AC inverter in front and in the back.

- Built in XP Pro / Vista computer in ICC equivalent dash / HUD with internet access over Telstra NextG (now device max 3.6Mbps next year 7.2Mbps :spoton: ) (also doubles as security feature for locating and/or locking down stolen car/lost car in the carpark :spoton:)

- Driver's Memory Setting Seat/Mirrors as standard.

- Doors that lock automatically when the vehicle is moving (Audi do this).

- Somehow make the car lighter to improve the power to weight ratio and assist in reducing fuel consumption.

- Better differential (heard they were going to use the ZF diff from xlnt6 and read it somewhere).

- Bi Xenon headlights as standard.

- Airbags all round - as many as possible.

- Nice to increae the engine power output since a lot of people are doing it anyway.

- Softer leather seats.

- Built in E-TAG.

- I guess if you've got the built in computer you don't need a MP3 player, but if the computer aint there, then an audio system that plays MP3s would be nice.

- Infrared night vision camera on the front to aid driving at night with normal beams ON. Hate not being able to put the high beams on because of traffic in front or on-coming.

- Built in DVD and High Definition TV LCD screens on the rear seat heads for the rear pasengers (with capability to connect to the Internet).

- Small fridge compartment somewhere accessible that is powered off the car's electrics. Big enough to hold 3 - 4 water bottles.

- Retractable towbar so that it does not poke out when not in use - but there if you need it.

- ZF Auto drops back to 1st gear in sequential manual mode, not 2nd when pulling up at the lights to a stand still.

- Bigger display of what gear your in on the dash / HUD whilst in sequential manual mode.

- Climate control as standard.

- Removable Hard Disk for storing music, videos etc. as standard wth USB and SD Card interface.

Gee you don't want much at all...

I'd like to see the basics,

more power,

MP3 \ DVD \ Satnav as standard

I also like the idea of the retractable tow bar. Expensive Daewoo have done it, why can't ford???
