So your saying that with your 248rwkw you haven't cracked a 13? I've only got a few more kw's and ran a 13.3 with a T5 and crappy 19" tyres.

Sad but true, I need a Nitrous controler to bleed the Nos out so the clutch dosn't get the shock of its life.

On the bright side I rather cook my clutch than a pop the gear box. Dyno works no problem and its awsome on a track day, but the set up as it stands today is not set up for the 400m dash.

May knock it back to a 50 or 75 shot that would help a lot.

Ive only done flat 15-second passes off Nos, after tuning now with 14 rwkw extra thanks to C&V last week, who knows maybe a 14.7-second pass, could be lower but Im not the Stig.

Note: all 15-second passes Ive done have been after the use of Nos so my poor little clutch was already baked, and at no time was I flat changing. I like low times but I also like driving home after.

BTW what I can run on Nos isn't really what I care about, Im after a 13-second pass off Nos............Dare to Dream.

Hi there guys,

Over 3 years ago fellow forum member XR6TU and myself pioneered with making our XR6 BA N/A's faster. We were probably the first to install performance chips, exhausts, headers, CAI on the BA N/A as the parts became available. The results were pretty good considering it was only bolt on mods.

I am happy there is still alot of BA-BF N/A owners wanting more out of their rides. Sadly I sold my XR6 5 months ago and I do miss how well it drove.

My best run down the 1/4 was a 14.71@96MPH which wasnt too shabby considering a couple my mates in XR6T's ran 14.6's same day.

Cheers,

Ex XR6 N/A driver

Hey guys, on the talk of 400m dashes. We'll have to organise a saturday or sunday in the new year for a WFID day. I'm starting to get real keen to see how well my car runs down the straight.

Any ideas from anyone on possible times?

Running 194.3rwkw with Toyo Proxies, 8" wide through standard diff, gearbox and clutch.

That's a long way for me, but I would try and make it depending on the timing.

194 in a manual, just a guess but about a 14.4? could be better or worse depending on track conditions and your driving skills. Also how is your traction? Do you get wheel spin? Do you have an LSD?

Low 14's me thinks, if you drive the wheels off it who knows?

All I know is I won't miss it, name the day and the time Im there Dan :nono: It'd be cool to line up against each other.

All this talk about modding and seeing the rwkw figures some of you guys have got makes me want to start modding mine. I just don't trust the 5 speed manual though.
