We are already joined. NZ is Australia's colostomy bag.

I think the 2 votes for yes are just New Zealanders who just wished they had a great country like ours.

I voted no because with we did became one I would have to call the newzealanders bro and that is just not right.

Guy's calling the Kiwi sheep farkers is an Australianism only. Others in the world , particularly RSA clearly have the Aussies riding on the sheeps back :spoton:

Perhaps as another state of Australia.

They could join our domestic cricket competition.

Our Rugby team would obviously be improved.

NSW already subsidises most of the Australian states, (especially those up north), so another state may be a bit much.

It make take them a while to get their vowels right.

I voted Yes....

The poor bastards can't win anything, at least they could pretend they are part of Australia.

Come on in you sheep farkers....most are here on the dole anyway...you sheep rapers need a hand to make decent wine, play Rugby, speak proper english, learn how to have someone other an a "caddy" as your highest paid sportsman, get a decent Defence force, and learn how to play cricket...............

I think we could then bring back underarm bowling.....26 years on you still arent over it are you???????

You can all move to Sydney......

PS ....Your country side is f*ckn lovely though

:spit: Geeeeeeeezzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz I'm gonna cop some flack for this one. :idunno:

I hadn't been there since 1989 and went for a holiday there in June. What a great place, so much so that my good woman declared (and shes a staunch Aussie). "If we arn't living here by May next year I'm leaving you" Was that a chance to escape or what?

But seeing my head office is based in Bris and I have to keep flying backwards and forwards every couple of weeks from Perth, I figured Auckland was closer to Brisbane anyway and I could spend a week a month there and 3 in NZ. So for better or worse we are off to the land of the long white cloud.

Got to find out how much an F6 costs over there, but from what I saw when you took the 10% currency difference they were cheaper and so were the on roads. Strange thing was we drove from Auckland to Queenstown and didn't see a single bloody sheep anywhere.
