Mate im a big fan of meguires three step polish

They all come in maroon bottles

Step One is a pain cleaner that removes all the crap of your paint work

Step two is a normal polish

Step three is a good wax

Get yourself some good polishing cloths when you get the polish

PS you will need at least 6 hrs free time for best results

I did that yesterday, had to get all three bottles, cost just under $60 for the lot.  And yes keep a few hours free!

Thanks Decoy :stirthepot:

Did you get the desired result?

No worries, yeah, it has come up looking pretty good, as good as I have ever had it. You should get a couple of uses out of the bottles too.

start with a claybar mate, gets all the shizzle off the paint to start with.. then whatever decent polish you want to use.. personally I use pinnacle clay, then Zaino Z2 polish followed by P21S carnauba wax for the final coat..

How hard are these clay bars to use, I must say I'm a little bit worried about using one, having never used one before.

Meguires is good, but do you realise that they have Meguires Gold Class which has all of the above setps in one polish, plus Wet Look clear coat as well. I used to use the Claener, Polish, Was and Wet Look, but now Gold Class does it in one go with the same result. :siihp:
