Guest newl Guests Posted 04/12/06 11:17 AM Share Posted 04/12/06 11:17 AM My tutor ( bro-in-law) flys mode 2, he said he couldn't show me how to fly unless we changed the radio.. I know if I learnt Mode 1, It would have been just as easy..Yeah, it pretty much boils down to what you're comfortable with and what someone who is mentoring or teaching you how to fly is using.I could have chosen either because the people I learned from, one was Mode 1 and the other Mode 2 and believe it or not there was an older chap who liked to fly Mode 3 from time to time. :D

Bel medivac or Sea rescue ( I think ) are very easy to get going inside your house.I need to run my Night Ranger in the theatre room. ( 6mx6m ) as it does get a bit hairy under my (lack of) control..The little Bel I could get flying in a much smaller area, but there's really no way you could take the little tacker outside.. Unless it was dead still.. My NR2 puts up with a little breeze.

( #4 ) The only difference is the electrics.Search 'Walkera 4 parts ' and there's a shop that has everything.. I'll link the eBay shop if anyone needs it.Very cheap parts, all about $1-$5 with $5 postage, discount for multiple items. I'm working on the missus to get me a bigger heli from Santa

Even though there was alot of bend metal..Also, his remote was setup in mode3 (or 4), where the ele and aireons were on the left stick, and throttle and rudder were on the right stick.. Kinda makes sense, but I like mode 1 The T-REX SE by far, is the best electric heli to get, as I said before, its power to weight ratio is awsome, and its very nimble, you can throw it around like you wouldnt believe..If yuo want some good video clips, do a google for Jason Krause, but far one of the better known 3d fliers in the world.. http://www.jkheli.com/ <-- his website, which has a few videosDanny.
