boost69 Donating Members 737 Member For: 19y 6m 4d Posted 01/12/06 05:13 AM Share Posted 01/12/06 05:13 AM Yeh I agree down low the wrx is very good but you have to rev it quite hard to get boost...unlike the XR6T which has effortless boost.For breaking and cornering its very hard to beat... the braking and cornering and ability to accelerate out of tight bends and corners is fantastic...The sti has bit more top end than the standard rex as it redlines at 8000revs...that said... top end is still a bit flat though where for example an edited t just gives you that snowball of power effect...I also have found that the rex really has to be punished in order to get it to take off hard off the mark.... Just means you go through more clutches and flywheels, but better than a blown box and diffs. (I went through 3 boxes in my 200kw TX3 before I learnt this little gem).
