From you wording it sounds like he uses a std clutch at the moment.
Guest newl Guests Posted 27/11/06 10:37 AM Share Posted 27/11/06 10:37 AM Nah, I didn't opt for the 3D, just getting it off the ground for longer than 30 seconds is my goal.. After that, I might progress to a little T-Rex 450 or something similar.. I only have 1hr of fly time under my belt, but I already have crashing down pat!!! FYI, it's a little Night Ranger II cheap to fix but it's a bit quick on the cyclic for a complete novice, but meh, I like a challenge Bro-in-Law just called me an hr ago, he just did his first few barrel rolls. He flys a Raptor .50←Do you have a sim? If not, get one (RealFlite G3 is great but TruFlite will do in a pinch). It saves the bucks on crash kits. Also, if you don't already, get the two dowel and hula hoop setup for your hovering. Once you're comfortable with figure eights going both directions (usually one direction is preferred over the other, e.g. I'm better right to left) and you can hover for a full battery you'll be right to take off the training gear. you really should have been square with him and made it clear that he has not run an 11. From you wording it sounds like he uses a std clutch at the moment.Yeah, he should have called it when the BS meter went off.

I skipped the little bel medivac too, ( Bro in law has one for inside ) coz I had that thing hovering and wizzing round in less than a battery I have progressed to outside with a small breeze and am able to flog aroung for 30 seconds or so, untill the breeze takes it, usually into a bush.. When the battery's die a bit, it's damn hard to go hard right stick, or hard left stick to get control back on such a small machine..

I cant help it but laugh at people like this.. makes them look like an ass.As far as we are concerned its 11.8 till someone actually runs a quicker time down the quarter mile, not next to his mates gtr.Muzza
