Guy who works at dealer walks in to sales department and orders Blueprint XR6T with sunroof and leather.

Next day changes his mind and wants Silver. Dealer says OK since order not placed yet.

This week car arrives and guess what ????

It's BLUEPRINT!!!!

Dealer forgot to change order.

BTW I don't know what happened next.

Could be worse... he could have waited till february for it... and THEN found out... :)

Did he take the BluePrint or said he didn't want it?

The guy offered to buy at discount, ;) but as he was already buying at staff rates :( salesman told him where to go.

Now has to wait for next order!

I Know his pain,

Plexis grey instead of Plexis Phantom??? Hello? It's an OPTION we didn't ask for!

Plexis Phantom is standard with the Phantom XR sedan/ute.

No choice but to wait for the next $&@%$&*@#$$%!#% build.

Ford will be losing a dedicated fan very quickly if I do not take posession of the car in January!!!

Just think, this would be day 4 in our new Phantom XR6 if they didn't c*ck up the order!!!

I WANT MY CAR NOW!

Oh yeahh..hmmm gee, at least BBF have given me a decent courtesty car this time, I'm currently driving a Series II Falcon Forte, little better than the barely road worthy Telstar.....lol. B)

FoMoCo or the Ford dealer?

I keep saying it - most non-warranty-related stuffups are due to the dealers being incompetent morons rather than Ford getting their wires mixed up.

Hi Mr Plow,

BTW, nice machine :)

It's Ford's stuff up, I saw the orig paperwork, it's not the dealers fault. I was there when they made the order. I was also there when they locked in the January build for us.

I know I'm peaved about this but at least the dealer, Bryan Byrt Ford, have offered compensation for the stuff up and they will probably have to wear it. They have been really good. I'm in a courtesy car with no extra cost until the new one arrives, AU II Forte.

I'm just getting the base model BA XR6 but with additional extras, this one will be in theory the same car as the turbo minus the traction control..etc. and obviously the turbo.

Extras: LSD, Rear power Windows, XR scuff plates, XR floor mats, Premium Stereo and several other options and goodies including the full fordcare package. They come to the party with offering the rear power windows and the scuff plates at no extra cost.

$32,500 trade in on the VCT, it's done over 23,000kms so we are getting a good deal. As I've said before, with all this, we will be better off by around $60 or more each fortnight so we are happy.

I just wish it was ready NOW, geez, miss the premium stereo already :ermm:

Here's luck for an early delivery :clover: :clover:
