I have had the issue with the exhaust, its a simple replacement (or placement) of a rubber support ring to pull it back over to the middle. Careful as sometimes it will knock on the body when you start and stop the car. The paint run is pretty dodgy though :msm:

update about the exhaust.

the paint has started to melt from the bumber skirt now. so I went back to the dealership and specifically showed the service advisor that told me it wont melt the bumber when I picked the car up. of course he now changed his tune and said 'that it has moved more. it wasnt this bad.' which is bs and I told him so.

so they put the car on the hoist get a crowbar and hammer out and start bashing. in the end the couldnt move it and its still the same.

I immediately demand a whole new exhaust and he replies he has to speak with ford and get instructions from them first but ford might want us to heat up the brackets and move it. of course I said no way.

anyway, what experiences have people had over the exhaust allignment issue. do ford replace with a new one?.

Yeah my exhaust is way more crooked than yours and I wanna now how you get along. 3000Kms inspection coming up soon too.

Not the best pic, but its clearly not sitting flush.

there is 2 sections that bolt up to each other and both sections have movemnet in them, if they are loosened and set up at the back before retightened then it should be fine, I usually align it how I want iut with rags and then do them up remove the rags and its in place perfect

thanks extreme. so its that easy hey. y the hell dont the dealership know this. they had no idea. when I go back in a few weeks ill tell them this. and if they still want to heat it up and bend it ill tell them to give me a new painted bumper skirt and ill adjust the exhaust myself.
