Hi guys

Have rarely been in a sunroofed car so I'm looking for some opinions on the factory fitted sunroof in BFs. I'm thinking of trading up to a BF F6, and have found one that suits me, except it has a sunroof.

Dont know if it's a good or bad thing.

Does the sunroof have any bad points? Are the factory ones prone to leaking?

Do you get sunburnt? LOL

TIA.

Attention all sunroof owners,

I have had one installed and it's fantastic and I wouldn't be without one now.

Do your factory controls have blue back light controls or another colour?

Mine is a Webasto sunroof and it has green back lights on the controls.

Can any of the electronics wizards out there change the colour of the LED's to blue, they are surface mounts.

Post up and let me know I'm in the Mornington Peninsula.

Regards

Steve

I am sure the colour of the switch can be changed.

As for the question, I would not own a car with one. You reduce the roof height, I am 6'5" and would not be able to drive a Falcon with a sunroof. It will also weaken the roof structure and they can leak.

If you are not tall and you can get a good deal on the car, do not let a sunroof stop you buying it.

Sunny roofs are the best :spoton:

adds character to the car and is useful and all that stuff..

what zap said is spot on you lose head room height "apparently" :spoton:..

at 5'3" (short a$$)its not a big issue for me :spoton:, until its time to put a helmet on .

Tabitha is 6'4" and the roof is too low for him. nahhhhhh he is just too tall :spoton:

shazy
