Interesting you state that they got caugt thrashing your car, I noticed my average fuel economy went up from 16.5 to 16.8 litres/100km in the short time they had it.

same for me but what can you do..

mine went from 12.3 to 12.8 and I hadn't reset it for ages before they got there hot little hands on it..

spose they could have disconnected the battery which would reset it..

I now make it a habit of telling them not to drive the car out of the lot. Sometimes they try to argue and say they need to road test the car, but I tell them that it runs fine and if it needed road testing I'd let them know.

A friend of mine once caught a Ford service guy doing burnouts in his GT a few years back, they didn't realise he had just gone for a walk while they serviced the car and he saw them in a back street.

you can tell they do this because of the amount of skid marks leading out of the dealers rear exits..

one day I'll get pics of the back of my local.

snakeys up and down the street! you can even see where they have hit the kerbs a couple of times :msm:

I've had my T damaged twice in visits to Ford. Fuel consumption always increases. And brake shudder arose from their 'test drive'. Not impressed, but lease has certain restrictions.
