Cricket is an exciting and intriging sport to watch. Especially the tests. For the knokers, drag your backsides down to a game one day.

You wont regret it.

Martyn gives slips catching practice....again! Scored too quickly hitting beautiful and straight.

Ok, he's out of my team. The 11th player will be Hodge. Though Marcus North wouldn't be too far behind.

Cricket?  About as exciting as Lumpy's posts!

Id rather watch a game of cricket than a game of soccer! At least there are no divers in cricket!

.....and your point is? :roflmbo:

It’s still as boring as your mumma.

McGrath is just past it Zap. He's too old, not quick and he's lost alot of his accuracy. He is not a opener, barely a change bowler. International teams have worked out they can just step down the wicket to him. Stuart Clark is in the same 'accurate' mold, but he's quicker, has more variation, better bounce and he can keep bowling to boot.

Hayden once again, Fiddles Fart's and Fails. 21 off 47. Langer's off to a good start, he seems to have had a decent start in the Shield this year.

My team would have been: Langer, Jacques, Ponting, Hussey, Gilchrist, Warne, Lee, S. Clark, Johnson, Tait and Martyn (one last chance and only if he hits in front of square!)

Lumpy :tease:

Shane Warne is older than McGrath at 37 (McGrath 36) yet he is included in your team?? :bum:

McGrath is still a great bowler and silenced his critics in India. It's his constant ability to land the ball in the same sweet spot ball after ball that makes him so damn good. He rarely strays off the line and wears the batsman down with his acuracy.

  • Just sit back and enjoy the ride...!

As far as Pigeon is concerned, all I have to do is think back to last year at Lords. That first afternoon when McGrath demolished the English top order by taking the first five wickets. Perfect demonstration of world-class bowling! :bum:

Photos I took at the 2005 Lords Test Match

Twas good to be an Aussie at that game... :bum:

pity about how things turned out after I had left the UK to go home... :tease:
